The Sound Reset Part of The Elemental Reset series Honouring Water + Air A 2-hour session at the Sacred River Retreat designed to help you switch off your overthinking mind and reset your nervous system, using water and sound. If your head's been loud lately too many tabs open, too much going on, this is a couple of hours to put it all down. No spiritual background needed. No experience required. Just show up, get comfortable, and let it work. What you'll actually do Sitting by the waterfalls, you'll sit beside our custom-built waterfall and let the sound of running water settle your system, there's a reason humans naturally relax near rivers. I'll guide you through writing down whatever's been weighing on you, then placing those words onto biodegradable petals and letting the water carry them away. It's a small action with a surprisingly big effect Then we move onto Breath-work and sound bath. We move into a simple guided breathing session, straightforward, easy patterns that calm the body and slow the mind. Then a sound bath by the waterfalls using crystal siding bowls drums, gongs, chimes, and wind instruments. You don't have to do anything for this part. You lie back, close your eyes, and let the sound work on you. Most people describe it as a massage for the mind. We come back together to settle, share anything you'd like (only if you want to), and have a cup of tea before you head home. 🌿 Sacred River Retreat Booking Policy Hosted at Glasgow Spiritual Centre – Shotts Outdoor: Sacred River Retreat Indoor: Glasgow Spiritual Centre facilities ☀️ Outdoor Environment Reminder Sacred River Retreat is a beautiful outdoor sanctuary created to connect you with the elements. To ensure your comfort and enjoyment: At points we will be seated under a wooden pergola. • Please dress appropriately for Scottish weather. • We recommend layered, warm clothing, especially during colder months (jackets, thick socks, scarves, gloves, etc.). • While we provide a cozy fire pit, heated areas, and blankets, dressing warmly will help you get the most out of your experience. What's Provided Blankets, mats, bolsters, cushions (feel free to bring your own if preferred). All areas are cosy, sheltered, and prepared to ensure your comfort regardless of the forecast. The sound bath is seated if you choose to sit under the pergola area which has heaters.
