Service Description
A 2-hour session at the Sacred River Retreat that pairs the calm of being outdoors among trees with the focus of a fire release ritual designed to help you feel grounded AND find your courage. This one is for the moments when you know what you want, but you can't quite get yourself moving. We start outside, among the trees, getting you back into your body. Then we move to the fire to burn off what's been holding you in place. It's not a hype workshop. It's a slow, considered way to come back to yourself, get clear on what's been blocking you, and mark the moment things change. What you'll actually do Forest reset We start outdoors, surrounded by trees. Through simple grounding practices barefoot on the earth if the weather allows, slow breathing, a tree connection practice you'll find the steady part of yourself that gets drowned out when life is loud. This isn't a stretch class. It's about being in your body again, which is where real confidence lives. Fire release (about 45 minutes) We move to the fire circle for a guided meditation, then a release ritual. You'll write down what's been holding you back self-doubt, fear of stepping forward, old patterns and offer it to the flames. Fire makes things final. Closing We come back together, settle, and have tea before you head home. 🌿 Sacred River Retreat Booking Policy Hosted at Glasgow Spiritual Centre – Shotts Outdoor: Sacred River Retreat Indoor: Glasgow Spiritual Centre facilities ☀️ Outdoor Environment Reminder Sacred River Retreat is a beautiful outdoor sanctuary created to connect you with the elements. To ensure your comfort and enjoyment: At points we will be seated under a wooden pergola. • Please dress appropriately for Scottish weather. • We recommend layered, warm clothing, especially during colder months (jackets, thick socks, scarves, gloves, etc.). • While we provide a cozy fire pit, heated areas, and blankets, dressing warmly will help you get the most out of your experience. What's Provided Blankets, mats, bolsters, cushions (feel free to bring your own if preferred). All areas are cosy, sheltered, and prepared to ensure your comfort regardless of the forecast. The sound bath is seated if you choose to sit under the pergola area which has heaters. Should you choose to lay down using mats provided, this takes place on the decking or around the waterfalls you are very welcome to. 🪨 Accessibility & Terrain Notice • The indoor centre offers level-floor access and is suitable for all. • The outdoor retreat space includes natural terrain, including stone pathways, grass, and uneven surfaces. • Please wear appropriate footwear and be mindful of your footing when moving around the site. 🚻 Facilities • Indoor toilets and freshening-up areas are available throughout your visit. • You are welcome to step inside to warm up or take a break if needed. • We want you to feel safe, comfortable, and supported during your time with us. 📝 Booking Acknowledgment By booking any ceremony, workshop, or event at Sacred River Retreat, you: • Acknowledge the outdoor nature of the space. • Accept responsibility for dressing appropriately and taking care on natural terrain. • Understand this is a sacred, nature-based environment intended for deep healing and connection. 💫 With Gratitude We’re honoured to hold space for your journey.
