Back to Nature - A Recharging Evening of Sound & Fire Step away from the noise, reconnect with nature and give yourself space to recharge. This gentle 2-hour experience at Sacred River Retreat is designed for anyone who feels mentally busy, drained, overwhelmed or simply in need of some time to reset. We’ll begin among the trees, slowing everything down and reconnecting with the natural surroundings. You’ll be guided through simple nature connection practices, including spending time with the trees, resting against them and allowing yourself to fully switch off. As you connect with nature, a gentle sound bath will flow around you, helping you relax, recharge and become more present in the moment. We’ll then move to the fire circle, where you’ll have the opportunity to reflect on anything you feel ready to let go of. This might be old thoughts, worries, habits, emotions or experiences that you no longer want to carry forward. You’ll then release this into the fire as a simple, symbolic way of drawing a line under what no longer serves you. No previous experience is needed and you do not need to consider yourself spiritual to take part. This is simply an opportunity to slow down, spend time in nature and give yourself some space away from everyday life. Please wear warm layers, comfortable clothing and suitable outdoor footwear. 🌿 Sacred River Retreat Booking Policy Hosted at Glasgow Spiritual Centre – Shotts Outdoor: Sacred River Retreat Indoor: Glasgow Spiritual Centre facilities ☀️ Outdoor Environment Reminder Sacred River Retreat is a beautiful outdoor sanctuary created to connect you with the elements. To ensure your comfort and enjoyment: At points we will be seated under a wooden pergola. • Please dress appropriately for Scottish weather. • We recommend layered, warm clothing, especially during colder months (jackets, thick socks, scarves, gloves, etc.). • While we provide a cozy fire pit, heated areas, and blankets, dressing warmly will help you get the most out of your experience. What's Provided Blankets, mats, bolsters, cushions (feel free to bring your own if preferred). All areas are cosy, sheltered, and prepared to ensure your comfort regardless of the forecast. The sound bath is seated if you choose to sit under the pergola area which has heaters. Should you choose to lay down using mats provided, this takes place on the decking or around the waterfalls you are very welcome to. 🪨 Accessibility & Terrain Notice • The indoor centre offers level-floor access and is suitable for all. • The outdoor retreat space includes natural terrain, including stone pathways, grass, and uneven surfaces. • Please wear appropriate footwear and be mindful of your footing when moving around the site. 🚻 Facilities • Indoor toilets and freshening-up areas are available throughout your visit. • You are welcome to step inside to warm up or take a break if needed. • We want you to feel safe, comfortable, and supported during your time with us. 📝 Booking Acknowledgment By booking any ceremony, workshop, or event at Sacred River Retreat, you: • Acknowledge the outdoor nature of the space. • Accept responsibility for dressing appropriately and taking care on natural terrain. • Understand this is a sacred, nature-based environment intended for deep healing and connection. 💫 With Gratitude We’re honoured to hold space for your journey.
